If your work is selected there is a participation fee of £48.00 This is a unique opportunity to bring your work to an audience of Artist, Photographers, and Creatives as well as the public, Scottish and International photographers are welcome. We want work from emerging as well as established photographers. The work will appear online in our online gallery on our website.
Photographers who are selected will have their displayed in a month long exhibition. The Golden Hour photography exhibition is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images that epitomize Golden hour Photography. The Glasgow Gallery of photography will present a photographic exhibition showcasing the work of photographers that explore the world through this view, by utilizing elements of colour, light, shadow, texture and shape their stunning Golden Hour images. The "Golden Hour" (or magic hour) is the period of time in the day just after sunrise or just before sunset when an array of amazing colours can be captured. The "Golden Hour" is something photographers are often drawn to due to the array of stunning colours it can produce on its surroundings, be it in an urban landscape or on the side of a mountain.
